BREWER and BANGOR Eunice Althea Cox, 69, died March 11, 2004, at home with her family. She was born Nov. 9, 1934, in Bangor, the Daughter of Ray and Louise (Murphy) Thomas. Eunice was a member of the Brewer Eagles Club. Surviving are her five children, David Cox, Bunny Cox, Anna Cote, Carrie Gardner, and Danny Cox; five grandchildren, Sarah, Andy and Amber Cote, Laurie Gardner and Amy Frey; four great-grandchildren, Andy, MiKayla, Mathew and Joseph; special friends, Irene Milliken, Jimmy Murray, Jim Morrill and Patricia Cox. She was predeceased by her parents; and her stepmother, Justina Thomas. “The love you give, the laughter you bring, we’ll have it forever to bring to others. The light is shinning to bring you home, to see your lost friends and forever be whole. It’s your time now, God chose you, you can leave us now. Always remember we love you” (Sarah). Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. Sunday, March 14, 2004, at Brookings-Smith, Clark-Piper Chapel, 55 South Main St., Brewer. A graveside service will be held 11 a.m. Monday at the Pine Grove Cemetery, Bangor, with the Rev. Dr. Rex Garrett, Director of Chaplaincy Services at EMMC, officiating.
