SILVER RIDGE – Eva Garnett, 89, died Oct. 29, 2006, in Houlton. She as born Aug. 27, 1917, at Rush Lake, Saskatchewan, Canada, the daughter of Jacob and Anganetha (Workentin) Knelsen. She is survived by five children, Beth and her husband, Thomas Coyle, of Burlington, Knelsen Garnett of Tucson, Ariz., Charles and his wife, Jacklyn Garnett of Silver Ridge, Walter and his wife, Penny Garnett, of Sherman, Victoria and her husband, Joseph Nesin, of Chester; 22 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; and one sister, Bertha Meltz of Rabbit Lake, Saskatchewan, Canada. She was predeceased by her husband, Kenneth in 1985; one grandson, Justin; 10 sisters and two brothers. Funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday at Bowers Funeral Home, Island Falls, with Robert Bragg officiating. Interment will be at the Silver Ridge Cemetery.
