CORINTH and HALIFAX, Mass. – Eva Lambert Goodwin, 89, the wife of the late Alan C. Goodwin, died peacefully April 8, 2006, at a Dover-Foxcroft Nursing Home, after a long illness. She was born Dec. 31, 1916, in Pawtucket, R.I., the daughter of Amos and Bilena (Cleveland) Lambert. She grew up and spent all but the past two years of her life in the Halifax area. She loved going on trips and playing golf with her friends. She is survived by her son, Lewis Goodwin and his wife, Irene; and grandsons, Edwin, Alan and Grant, all of Corinth; a daughter, Nancy Ridder and husband, Richard, of Plymouth, Mass.; and grandchildren, Kim Wedge of Plymouth, Mass., Mark Ridder of Hanover, Mass. and Stacey Rugg of Halifax, Mass and several great-grandchildren. Memorial services will be held at a later date. Cremation arrangements are by the Thompson Funeral Home, 17 Hudson Rd., Corinth.
