FORT MYERS, Fla. – Eva Louise Boober, 84, died Monday, June 12, 2006. She was born in Bar Harbor, a daughter of the late Morris Somes and Mary Alice Saulner. Eva Louise moved to the local area from Marlborough, Conn. in 1996. She enjoyed her dogs and loved her grandchildren. Mrs. Boober is survived by her son, Roger L. Boober of Marlborough, Conn.; her daughter, Eva L. LeBaron of Glastonbury, Conn.; her grand-children, Marie, Robin, Cindy, Sean, Chad, Errol, Erika, Eryn, Christopher, Jared; and 18 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Leslie W. Boober in 1982; and her son, Errol in 2005. A memorial service celebrating her life will be conducted 11 a.m. Friday, June 23, at the Marlborough Congregational Church. In her memory, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Foundation.
