RIPLEY – Eva M. Morin, 79, died Dec. 28, 2003, at her home in Ripley. She was born Nov. 23, 1924, in Dexter, daughter of Albert and Pauline (LaChance) Folsom. She was a communicant of St. Anne’s Catholic Church in Dexter, and a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the V.F.W. She worked as a CNA in home healthcare for many years. After her retirement she enjoyed crafts and especially enjoyed Beano. She is survived by three children, Lorrie Morin of Lewiston, Allen Morin of Lewiston and David Morin of Togus; four grandchildren, Tammy and April of Lewiston, Travis Tripp now serving in the U.S. Marine Corps. in North Carolina, and Casey Tripp of Sumner; four great-grandchildren, Aleasha, Tamara, Robby and Shelby, all of Lewiston; several nieces and nephews; two sisters, Barbara Spizuoco of Dexter; and Rita Bates of Dover-Foxcroft. She was predeceased by her husband, John C. Morin in 2000; a son, Michael Morin in 1962; and a brother, Linwood Folsom. Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 30, 2003, at the Crosby & Neal Funeral Home, 61 Main St., Dexter. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with the Rev. Father Raymond Morency officiating. Spring burial will be in the Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Dexter.
