ISLAND FALLS – Evelyn G. Given, 87, died March 6, 2006, at Patten. She was born Aug. 29, 1916, in Island Falls, the daughter of Harold and Hazel (Desmond) Gerow. She is survived by one sister, Gertrude Anderson of Patten; two nieces, Peggy Gerow and Carmen Simmons, both of Albuquerque, N.M.; several other nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her husband, Cecil Given; and one brother, Vaughn Gerow. At Evelyn’s request there will be no calling hours or funeral services at this time. Arrangements by Bowers Funeral Home, Island Falls.
