BRADLEY – George H. O’Leary, 84, died March 6, 2006, at a Bangor hospital. He was born July 27, 1921, in Canada. George was a World War II veteran having served with the U.S. Army. He was employed by Maine Central Railroad for more than 33 years retiring in 1981. He enjoyed camping, traveling, fishing and his horses. He loved to spend time with his grandchildren. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Ida (Commeau) O’Leary; seven children, Mary O’Leary, Sarah Trask and her husband, Douglas, Dan O’Leary and his wife, Dawn, Eva Legere and her husband, Les, Peter O’Leary, Emily Westerfield and Michael, Katie Marquis and her husband, Greg; 10 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; a sister, Sarah Lamb, several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother, Edgar O’Leary; and a sister, Eleanor LaBree. Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Friday, at the Birmingham Funeral Home, 438 Main St., Old Town.
