MT. DORA, Fla. – Everett C. Burns Jr. “Butch,” 57, of Mt. Dora, Fla. died on Monday, Sept. 27, 2004. He was born in Orono. Everett had been a resident of Lake Worth for 25 years and former owner of E. Burns Carpet Cleaners for 20 years. Survivors include two sons, Matthew Burns and Christopher Burns; grandsons, Ryan, Daniel and Dean; former wife and friend, Helen Burns; father, Everett C. Burns Sr.; brother, Stephen Burns. He was predeceased by mother, Dorothy Burns; and brother, Daniel Burns. Friends may call from 5-7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 7, 2004, at Brookings-Smith LaBeau Chapel, 72 Main St., Orono. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated 9 a.m. Friday, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Orono. Interment will be in Riverside Cemetery, Orono.
