BANGOR – Everett D. Bragg, 77, husband of the late Joyce (Dorr) Bragg, passed away April 22, 2008, at his home. He was born Aug. 8, 1930, in Carmel, the son of Ralph and Pearl (Purvis) Bragg. Everett retired from Bangor Mental Health Institute after many years of service. He enjoyed stock car racing at Speedway 95 and NASCAR racing. He is survived by his five children, Marilyn L. Cobb and her friend, Rick Thompson, Terry E. Bragg and his wife, Karen, Donna J. Bragg, Gail A. Baillargeon and her husband, Russell, and Richard A. Bragg and his partner, Jerry Watson; four sisters, Frances Morrill, Kathleen Dugan, Grace Chambers and Marie Snow; two brothers, Wilson Bragg and Darrell Bragg; several nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents and wife, he was predeceased by his brother, Robert Bragg. The family would like to express their appreciation and heartfelt thanks to New Hope Hospice for the care given to Everett during his illness. Graveside services will be private for the family.
