INDIAN ISLAND – Everett L. Loring Sr., 77, passed away early Thursday, Dec. 1, 2005, at a Bangor hospital. He was born May 6, 1928 in Greenbush, the son of George M. and Hazel C. (Curtis) Loring. Everett proudly served his country in the U.S. Army having fought in World War II. He was a life time member of the Old Town VFW and Old Town American Legion. Everett was formerly employed with Old Town Canoe and also worked construction for most of his life. He enjoyed, puzzles, playing Beano, camping and he was an avid outdoorsman. He is survived by five children, Walter Loring of Bangor, Richard Loring and his wife, Anita, of Old Town, Everett Loring Jr. and his wife, Lillian, of Bradley, Edward Loring of Windham, Alice Schrader and her husband, Mike, of Indiana; four stepchildren, 17 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, brother, Frank Loring Sr. and his wife, Mary; special companion, Pauline Doucette; special friends, Linnie Loring and Betty Glidden, many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his wife, Frances E. Loring in 1998; three brothers, George, Fred, and Melvin; six sisters, Marnar Richardson, Rose Cronk, Esther Albert, Ethel Herbert Annie Paul and Aleta Levesque.
