EVERETT R. ROBERTS SOUTH GOULDSBORO Everett R. Roberts, 62, died Sept. 22, 2003, at a Jonesport healthcare facility. He was born Jan. 21, 1941, at South Gouldsboro, the son of Merrill and Effie (Myrick) Roberts. Everett worked all his life as a clam and worm digger all along the Downeast Coast. He is survived by his three daughters, Lorretta Ashmore and her husband, James, of East Orland, Geraldine Webber and her husband, Kenneth, of Machias, and Kimberly Roberts of Bangor; one son, Everett Roberts Jr. of Massachusetts; his sister, Merrilene (Roberts) Johnson and her husband, Lewis, of Cherryfield; seven grandchildren; one great-grandson; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents and a daughter, Mary Lou Roberts in 1992. A graveside memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 4, 2003, at the South Gouldsboro Cemetery, South Gouldsboro.
