COOPERS MILLS – Faylene M. Bradstreet, 86, died Oct. 9, 2006, in Coopers Mills. She was born Nov. 15, 1919, in Palermo, the daughter of James Roscoe and Betsey Ann (Carr) Tobey. She attended schools in Palermo and graduated from Erskine Academy, South China. She married Cecil Robert Bradstreet of Albion, Jan. 16, 1944, in Waterville. She and Cecil operated their potato farm in Albion most of their lives and she later was employed for a number of years with the state of Maine. She was predeceased by her parents, as well as seven brothers and sisters, Gerald L. Tobey, Leland A. Tobey, Thelma Brown, Rowena Nash, Elwood “Jack” Tobey, Ramona Smith and Elaine Tobey. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her eight children, Betsy Wright of Bangor, Patricia McNamara and her husband, Michael, of Cape Elizabeth, Suzanne Pineo and her husband, Stephen, of Chambersburg, Pa., Robert Bradstreet and his wife, Antoinette, of Albion, Richard Bradstreet and his wife, JoAnne, of Vassalboro, Timothy Bradstreet and his wife, Roberta, of Gorham, N.H., Randall Bradstreet and his wife, Lorna, of Albion and James Bradstreet of Sarasota, Fla.; a brother, James “Ben” Tobey and his wife, Roberta, of Branch Mills; a sister, Priscilla Fontaine of Brighton, Mass.; 17 grandchildren, 15 great-grand-children, numerous nieces and nephews. Surviving brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law are Mrs. Leland (Shirley) Tobey of Lake Worth, Fla., Mrs. Elwood (Pauline) Tobey, of Branch Mills, and Parker Smith of Winslow, Lucille (Bradstreet) Sawlivitch of Albion, Ethelyn (Bradstreet) Russell of Winslow, Deane and Virginia (Bradstreet) Hutchins of Veazie and Seth and Betty Bradstreet of Newport. Visiting hours will be held 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 12, at Lawry Brothers Funeral Home, 107 Main St., Fairfield. Private graveside services will be at Number Four Cemetery, Albion.
