HOWLAND – Flora C. Mushero Lindsay, 88, died Feb. 15, 2006, at home with her family around her. She was born Sept. 19, 1917, in Howland, the daughter of Charles Leslie Spencer and Isabelle (Emerson) Spencer Brown. Flora was a homemaker. She enjoyed making pies, cookies and donuts to sell for the Church of God building fund. She had 13 children, eight which lived. She is survived by seven children, Arlene Holmes and her husband, Harvey, of Old Town, Harold Mushero and his wife, Flora, of West Enfield, Pauline Tasker and her husband, Arthur, of Howland, Shirley Witherbee and her husband, Arthur, of Brockton, Mass., Lillian Cyr of Howland, Leo Mushero and his wife, Laura, of West Enfield and Charlie Mushero and his friend, Lynda of Medway; one sister, Stella Suitter of Linneus; 28 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; 17 great-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husbands, Kenneth Mushero and Alvin Lindsay; and a son, Kenneth Mushero Jr. Friends may call 7-9 p.m. Friday, Feb. 17, at the Clay Funeral Home, 7 Lee Rd., Lincoln. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, at the funeral home, with the Rev. Angelia Fowler, officiating. Interment will be in Emerson Cemetery, Howland. Family and friends are invited to the West Enfield Church of God after the funeral. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the West Enfield Church of God building fund.
