EASTON – Flora M. Adams, 88, wife of the late Milford H. “Mike” Adams, died Tuesday evening, July 24, 2007, at a Caribou health care facility, after a brief illness. She was born May 17, 1919, in Fort Fairfield, the daughter of Dexter S. and Grace (Burtsell) Jenkins. She was a graduate of the Fort Fairfield High School, Class of 1936 and attended Eastern School of Beauty, Bangor. Flora was married to Milford “Mike” Adams, July 14, 1944, and had resided in Easton since 1946, where she was a beautician for several years. Mrs. Adams was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Good Will Chapter No. 85, Fort Fairfield. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Adams was predeceased by her husband, Aug. 11, 1997; three brothers, Delmar, Harold and Preston Jenkins; one granddaughter, Natalie J. Adams. Mrs. Adams is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Michael J. and Suzanne Adams; one daughter, Ann V. Adams; two grandsons, Clinton Adams and his wife, Kristie, and Cameron Adams; one great-grandchild, Mason Adams, all of Easton; several nieces and nephews. There will be no calling hours. A private graveside service will be conducted at Estes Park Cemetery, Easton. In lieu of flowers, those who wish may contribute in memory of Mrs. Adams to the charity or organization of one’s choice. Arrangements are in the care of Giberson-Dorsey Funeral Home, Fort Fairfield.
