KINGSBURY – Flossie T. Ward, 86, died March 2, 2005, at a Skowhegan nursing home. She was born Aug. 25, 1918, in Kingsbury, a daughter of Willis and Isabelle (McKenney) Campbell. She worked in the blueberry fields and later as a housekeeper in Northeast Harbor. She is survived by two daughters, Marie Mitchell of Hartland, and Meredith Dube and her husband, George of Solon; three grandsons, Mark Cobb of Greenbush, Troy Gourley of Skowhegan, and Shawn Mitchell of Thorndike; five great-grandchildren, Kenneth, Dylan, Dakota, Jarrett, and Kolin; a brother-in-law, Basil Ward of Bridgeton; two sisters-in-law, Angie Ricker, and Georgie Ward, both of Wellington; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, Fayland Campbell. Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Friday, March 4, 2005, at the Crosby & Neal Funeral Home, 21 Oak St., Guilford. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home 11 a.m. Saturday, March 5, 2005, with Pastor A. Maurice Neal officiating. Spring burial will be in Mt. Rest Cemetery in Athens.
