LINCOLN – Frances A. Stevens, 82, wife of the late Howard Stevens, died Feb. 24, 2006, at a Bangor hospital. She was born Nov. 16, 1923, in West Enfield, the daughter of Victor Lindquist Sr. and Irene (Oakes) Lindquist. Frances was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran of World War II. She was very family oriented. She worked as a mender at the local worsted mill. She is survived by two daughters, Kathy Parlee and Sherry Wotton and her husband, Jerry, all of Lincoln; two brothers, Victor Lindquist Jr. of Lincoln and Ronald Lindquist of Howland; two grandchildren, Derek Parlee and his wife, Stephanie and Lynn Smith and her husband, Chad; three great-grandchildren, Brendan Parlee, Cameron Parlee and Gage Smith. Graveside services for Frances and her husband, Howard, will be held in the spring at the Lincoln Cemetery.
