BANGOR – Francisco “Pancho” Cruz, died June 7, 2007, at his home. He was born Sept. 13, 1955, in Grafton, N.D., the son of Lucas and Francesca Cruz. Pancho had resided in Bangor for several years and had established many lasting friendships. His kind and gentle manner endeared him to all. He loved learning about the world in which he lived. and was especially knowledgeable about Native Americans and was passionate about boxing. He is survived by his brothers, Gabriel, Carlos, and Horacio; and his friends, Ernie, George, and Diane. Pancho will be buried in El Paso, Texas, next to his mother.
