PROSPECT – Frank F. Robbins, 72, died Oct. 27, 2006, at his residence. He was born Nov. 6, 1933, on Deer Isle, son of William F. and Beulah M. (Morey) Robbins. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps in the Korean War and was a 20-year member of the American Legion Post No. 43. Frank worked as a carpenter and in his spare time, enjoyed flowers, gardening and wood working. He enjoyed watching the World Wrestling Federation and gathering with his friends at Perry’s Store. He was predeceased by his parents; two brothers, Edmond and William; two sisters, Bernice and Eletta; and daughter, Baby Sue. Frank is survived by his wife of 50 years, Lorraine (Seekins) Robbins of Prospect; children, Frank Robbins of Virginia Beach, Va., Annette Patterson and husband, Jim, of Shaunee, Kan., Ronald Robbins and wife, Cindy, of Winslow, Wayne Robbins and wife, Eleanor, of Hooksett, N.H., Greg Robbins and wife, Sharon, of Orrington and Rusty Robbins and Mindy of Bucksport; bro-ther, Alpheus Robbins; sister, Virginia Pomeroy, 21 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, as well as many special friends. Friends and family are invited to call 6-8 p.m. Monday, Oct. 30, at Crabiel-Riposta Funeral Home, 182 Waldo Ave., Belfast, where funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Tuesday.
