EAST MILLINOCKET – Freddie A. King III, 44, died peacefully in his sleep at his home Saturday, March 18, 2006. Freddie was born Sept. 2, 1961, in Island Falls, to his loving parents Freddie and Mary Ellen (Springer) King. He graduated from Schenck High School in 1979. Soon after, Fred joined the Great Northern Paper Company, working in the mill as a grinder man. He was employed there for about 13 years. Fred enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, snowmobiling, four-wheeling and many other outdoor activities. He especially enjoyed spending time with his family at camp on the lake. In addition to his parents, Freddie is survived by his three children, Freddie IV, Jessica and Jodi, all of East Millinocket; and the mother of his children, Kathy King of Belfast. He also leaves his loving sisters, Brenda King Quill of Old Town and Nancy King Brown and her husband, Bill, of Holly Ridge, N.C.; his special nieces and nephews, Casey Fitzgerald, Kristen Quill, Billie-Joe Arellano and Nekia Fleming; and great-niece, Alyssa Arellano. Freddie also leaves his special friend and dog, Jade. Friends are invited to greet Fred’s family 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, March 21, at R.L. Bouchard Funeral Home, 11 Tamarack St., Millinocket. A funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday at Calvary Temple, East Millinocket, with Pastor Regginal Adams officiating. Spring Burial will follow in Sherman Cemetery at a later date.
