LITTLETON – Frederick M. Cole, 68, passed into eternal rest Dec. 19, 2006, with his family by his side, at his daughter’s home in Littleton. He was born Sept. 6, 1938, in Houlton, the son of Hudson and Dorothy (Smith) Cole. Fred is survived by his daughter, Stacey Cole of Littleton; his sons, Fred Jr. and his wife, Joanna, of Hodgdon, Ronald of Houlton and Jason and his wife, Sarah, of Littleton; he lived for his grandchildren, whom he adored, Ashley and Dustin East-ham, Kandi-Marie, Desiree and Andrew Cole, Taylor and Abby Cole, Chelsey Folsom; his brothers, Donald Cole and his wife, Becky, of Ashland, Hudson Cole and his wife, Cathy, of Linneus and Randy Cole and his companion, Judy, of Littleton; his sisters, Ruth Grant, Elizabeth Batchelder and Joan Spellman, all of Houlton, special niece, Debbie Flewelling and her husband, Roger, of Houlton, several nieces, nephews and cousins; the mother of his children, Leila Cole of Hodgdon. Fred was predeceased by his parents, two sisters, Millicent Shrout and Rebecca Cole; two brothers-in-law, Donald Shrout and George Batchelder. At Fred’s request, there will be no services or visitation. A remembrance of Fred’s life will be celebrated 2 p.m. Thursday at the Linneus Sno Sports.
