LAKE WORTH, Fla. – Frieda Graham, 91, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 24, 2004. Frieda was married to Charles F. Graham in 1930 and moved to Florida in 1950. She was a member of “Busy Fingers” for more than 30 years, most of which she was the coordinator. A lifetime member of the Palm Beach Orchid Society, honorary lifetime member of the Tropical Orchid Society, in 1993, she had an orchid named after her. She was a member of the Navy Seabee Veterans of America Island X-2 and a volunteer at the VA Medical Center, West Palm Beach. She was a member of the Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church where she was a volunteer of several ministries. Frieda was an honorary lifetime member of the “Air Defense Team” for voluntary and faithful service in the Ground Observor Corps where she received the meritorious service award in recognition of 100 and 250 hours of faithful service to the organization. She was a country line dancer for more than 10 years. Frieda is survived by her daughter, Violet M. Reynolds of Lake Worth; three sisters, Irene Marquis, of Lantana, Fla., Edna Berube of Falmouth and Claire Marquis of Frenchville; seven grandchildren, Deborah, Theresa, Cynthia, Dorothy, Duane, Lyle and Denise; 18 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 9 a.m. Friday, Dec. 3, at the Maine Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Augusta.
