JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Gary Morrill, 55, died Nov. 1, 2005, at his home in Jacksonville, Fla., after a long battle with cancer. He retired after 33 years of service as the civilian quality assurance officer for the supervisor of Shipbuilding, Conversion and Repair, Jacksonville, Department of the Navy. Family members include his wife of 35 years, Sally; son, Jason (Sharon) of Jacksonville; mother, Kathleen; brother, Bruce (Candy); and sister, Kathy Sabine (Doug), all of Orrington. He was predeceased by his father, Christopher Morrill. A Memorial Service will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 19, at the East Orrington Congregational Church, 38 Johnson Mill Rd., Orrington with the Rev. Adam Soderberg officiating.
