BANGOR – Peter A. Porto Jr., 49, died Nov. 14, 2005, at his Bangor home. He was born May 20, 1956, in New Haven, Conn., the son of Peter and Margaret (Curnane) Porto. Peter enjoyed NASCAR, football and playing cards. He is survived by his wife, Corina Porto; two sons, Anthony W. and Nicholas M. Porto, all of Bangor; and family in Connecticut. A memorial service will be held 1 p.m. Friday, Nov. 18, at St. Jude’s Chapel, 207 York St., Bangor with the Very Rev. Richard McLaughlin, officiating. The family invites relatives and friends to share conversation and refreshments in the Parish Hall immediately following the service.
