LINCOLNVILLE – Geneva L. Wheaton, 93, of Lincolnville, died April 2, 2005, in Rockport. She was born June 18, 1911, in Patten, to Mildred Shorette and Charles Gagnon. She was predeceased by her husband, Milton W. Wheaton of Lincolnville; son, Bernard E. Wheaton of Lincolnville; brother, Charles Gagnon of Massachusetts; and sister, Leona Smallwood of Plainville, Conn. She is survived by two sons, Milton C. Wheaton of Hampden and Donis R. Wheaton of Bridgeton; one sister, Florence del Medico of Akron, Ohio; seven grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. April 23, 2005, at The West Rockport Baptist Church, Park Street, West Rockport. A reception will follow at the church. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations to Kno WaLin, 147 Waldo Ave., Belfast, ME 04915 and the Library Fund at Lincolnville Central School, Lincolnville, ME 04849.
