BAR HARBOR – Genevieve Ruth Dublis, 91, wife of the late Vito J. Dublis, went to her heavenly home Thursday, Feb. 9, 2006. In addition to her husband, Mrs. Dublis was predeceased by a sister, Helen Reeck. She is survived by one son, Richard C. Dublis and his wife, her devoted daughter-in-law, Janet, of Southwest Harbor; two grandsons, Scott Dublis of Southwest Harbor and Wayne Dublis and his wife, Sonia, of Deltona, Fla.; one great-granddaughter, Madeleine Rose Dublis of Deltona, Fla.; one sister, Ethel McDonald of Norfolk, Va.; her sister-in-law, Jean Dublis of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., as well as many nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 15, at St. Andrew Lutheran Church, 175 Downeast Highway, Ellsworth. The Rev. Bruce Meyer will officiate. Interment will be at a later date in Seaview Cemetery, Rockport. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Joseph Healthcare, Development Office, P.O. Box 1638, Bangor, ME 04402-1638.
