DANVERS, Mass., and ASHLAND – Mr. George H. Beaulier, 89, formerly of Salem, Mass., beloved husband of the late Shirley Katherine (Pelletier) Beaulier, died Saturday morning, Aug. 25, 2007, at Radius Health Care Center, Danvers, Mass. Born in Presque Isle, George was the son of the late Henry and Rose (Theriault) Beaulier. He was raised and educated in Maine. George became a lumberjack at age 14. He proceeded to work in the woods of Maine for the next 20 years. Mr. Beaulier then moved to Massachusetts and was employed for more than 20 years with Bostik, Middleton, Mass., until the time of his retirement. He was an early member of the Civilian Conservation Corps program in Maine and an active member of the Franco American Club, Beverly, Mass., for many years. George is survived by his son, Duane Beaulier of Dan-vers, Mass.; his two daughters, Darla Benson of Portage Lake and Debbie Beaulier of Salem, Mass.; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren; four sisters, Shirley, Judy, Kate and Phoebe; two brothers, John and Bill Beaulier; many nieces and nephews. He was also the father of the late Donnie Beaulier; and brother of the late Jessie, Mandy, Pauline and Mable. A funeral Mass will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Mark’s Catholic Church, Ashland. Rel-atives and friends are invited. Burial will be at Sheridan Cemetery, Ashland. Visiting hour will be held 9:30-11 a.m. prior to the Mass at the church. Assisting the family with the arrangements is Stimson-Ouellette Funeral Home, 114 Exchange St., Ashland.
