GEORGE MORRELL PERKINS JR. BAILEYVILLE – George Morrell Perkins Jr., 37, died unexpectedly Tuesday, May 30, 2006, as a result of an automobile accident. George was born Feb. 3, 1969, in St. Stephen. He served in the U.S. Army and was a member of Labor International Union of America No. 1377. George enjoyed fishing, hunting, building canoes, snowmobiling, ice fishing and woodworking. Surviving are his mother, Elaine (Cochran) Perkins; four sisters, Dianna Meserve and husband, Foster Jr., Bonnie Engroff and husband, John, Rebecca Perkins and Joyce Dawson and husband, Keith; a nephew, and five nieces. Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Sunday, June 4, at Mays Funeral Home, 26 Church St., Calais. A funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Monday at the funeral home with Fr. David Sivret officiating.
