PERCY F. BELLFLEUR MILLINOCKET – Percy F. “Tunny” Bellfleur, 75, died Wednesday, May 31, 2006, at a local hospital. He was born Jan. 21, 1931, in Ashland, the son of Albert and Clara (Morrow) Bellfleur. Tunny was a U.S. Army Korean War Veteran and the recipient of two Purple Hearts and a Bronze Service Star. He was a member of VFW Post No. 4154, Millinocket. Tunny worked for Great Northern Paper Company in Millinocket for more than 35 years retiring in 1987. Some of his favorite pastimes was working in his backyard garden and fishing at Souradehunk. At any given time, you could see Tunny walking around town with his walking buddies, Charlie, Pent, and Ernie. He really enjoyed going up to Barney’s, sitting by the fire, and having a cold one. He was a man who was dedicated to family and friends alike. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Frances E. (Hutchings) Bellfleur of Millinocket; six children, Theresa and husband, Rick Germain, of New Hampshire, Mary and husband, Dana Guimond, of Millinocket, Sharon and husband, Tom Rideout, of Millinocket, David and wife, Diane Bellfleur, of East Millinocket, Kathy Noyes and fianc?, Barney Morrison Jr., of Millinocket, and Rick Bellfleur of East Millinocket; his grandchildren, Michelle, George, Jennifer, Christine, Jeremy, Kyle, Nickki, Harmony, Jessee, Amanda, Ashley, Angela, Rick, Brad, and Lacey; 13 great-grandchildren; three brothers, Albert of Millinocket, Robert of Grindstone, Stanley of Pennsylvania, and one sister, Lenora of Pennsylvania, a special sister-in-law, Alice of Pennsylvania; several nieces and nephews. Graveside services with military honors will be held 1 p.m. Monday, June 5, at Millinocket Cemetery.
