CARIBOU and ALBION, N.Y. – Georgia Elliott, 88, wife of the late Kenneth Elliott, died Dec. 16, 2006, in Albion, N.Y. She was born Feb. 16, 1918, in Caribou, the daughter of George and Julia (Thibodeau) Chamberlain. Georgia was a graduate of Caribou High School and was employed as a clerk for Etna Insurance Co., Hartford, Conn. She is survived by her daughter, Rita Dumont and her fiance, Larie Vagg, of Albion, N.Y.; and her granddaughter, Shayne Wackell of Framingham, Mass. She was predeceased by her parents; four brothers, Frank, Ted, A. Lloyd and Clarence Chamberlain; and by three sisters, Wilena Cyr, Alean Barrows and Rita Grant. Friends may call 3-7 p.m. Wednesday at Mockler Funeral Home, 24 Reservoir St., Caribou. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 21, at the Holy Rosary Catholic Church, with the Very Rev. Jean-Paul Labrie, pastor, officiating in a Mass of Christian burial. Interment will take place in the Old Holy Rosary Cemetery, Caribou.
