GRAND ISLE – Gerald L. Beaulieu, 74, beloved husband for 49 years to Therese (Duplessis) Beaulieu, died Feb. 14, 2005 at a Bangor hospital surrounded by his family members. He was born Oct. 31, 1930, in Madawaska, the son of Vincent and Jeanette (Hebert) Beaulieu. He also had a stepmother, Annie (Pelletier) Beaulieu. He worked for Fraser Paper for 35 years. He will be remembered as a devoted husband, dedicated father and loving grandfather. He is survived by his wife, Therese of Grand Isle; two sons, David Beaulieu and his wife, Gail, of Hebron, Conn., Mark Beaulieu of West Hartford, Conn.; three daughters, Nancy Cote and her husband, Robert, of Andover, Conn., Janice Bellefleur and her husband, Marcel, of Grand Isle, Sandra Gervais and her husband, Roger, of Grand Isle; two sisters, Cecile Carrier of Florida, Verna Boucher of Plainville, Conn.; six stepsisters, Mina Dionne, of Grand Isle, Mona Levesque, Rita Beaulieu, Jenny Daigle and Lucille Naplitano, all of Connecticut and Martha Giusti of New Jersey; two stepbrothers, Herman Beaulieu of Florida and Vincent Beaulieu Jr. of California; seven grandchildren, Riechelle Burby, Keith Cote, Scott and Shane Beaulieu, Amy and Ashley Bellefleur, and Stacy Gervais; one great-grandchild, Logan Burby. Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. Friday at the Grand Isle Church. Friends and relatives may call 6-8 p.m. Thursday and 9 a.m. until time of services Friday at the Daigle Funeral Home. Interment will be in the St. Gerard Cemetery in the spring.
