INTERLACHEN, Fla. – Gerald Patten “Bub” Bishop Jr., 35, passed away Saturday, Dec. 31, 2005, in Florida. He was born July 1, 1970, in Bangor. Bub was a lifelong resident of Maine before moving to Florida two years ago. He lived life to its fullest and enjoyed nature, especially the Florida Keys, NASCAR and gargoyles. He served his country in the National Guard and was a flooring installer for the last several years. Bub is predeceased by his sister, Gerry Bishop; grandmother, Georgianna Malcolm; grandfather, Gerald F. Bishop; uncles, Dana Bishop and “Farmer” James. He is survived by his parents, Gerald Sr. and Cassandra (McLean) Bishop of Stockton Springs; his lifemate Keith Bingaman of Florida; his siblings, Terry Lynn Bishop of Tavares, Fla., Adam Bishop of Stockton Springs and Tracey Bishop of Northport. Visiting hours will be held 6-8 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 7, with a funeral service 7 p.m. at the Crabiel-Riposta Funeral Home, 182 Waldo Ave, Belfast.
