HOLDEN – Geraldine Martha Kendall, 84, loving wife of Richard P. Kendall Sr. for 64 years, died Nov. 21, 2003, at a Brewer healthcare facility. She was born April 6, 1919, in Bangor, the daughter of Howard and Alice (Ramey) Wade. Geraldine graduated from Brewer High School and Beal’s Business College. She worked in the Bangor school systems for quite a few years. Geraldine loved knitting, crafts, golfing and cooking. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend. Surviving in addition to her husband Richard are her son, Richard P. Kendall Jr., of Jupiter, Fla.; daughter, Beverly and her husband, Roger Hausmann, of Holden; grandchildren, Randy Fleming of Virginia, Suellen Glossop of Tennessee, and W. Richard Fleming of Tennessee; great-grandchildren, Christopher, Ashley, Jeffrey, and Brooklyn; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by six brothers and three sisters. The family would like to thank the staff of the Brewer Rehabilitation and Living Center for their compassionate care-giving. A graveside service will be held 11 a.m. Monday, Nov. 24, 2003, at Dean Hill Cemetery, Orrington, with the Rev. Grace Bartlett, pastor of the Grace United Methodist Church, officiating.
