GRAND ISLE – Germaine Cote, 87, died May 25, 2004, at a Madawaska nursing home. She was born Oct. 7, 1916, in Lille, the daughter of Vital and Ludivine (Beaulieu) Levesque. She was the wife of the late Ernest Cote. She was a member of the Ladies of St. Anne of St. Gerard/Mount Carmel Parish of Grand Isle. She is survived by three sons, Clifford Cote and his wife, Louise, of Grand Isle, Raymond Cote and his wife, Theresa, of Grand Isle, Ernest Cote and his wife, Ann Marie, of New Britain, Conn.; four daughters, Rolande Guerrette and her husband, Lucien, of Grand Isle, Adeline Lavertue and her husband, Claude, of Grand Isle, Prescilla Bois of Madawaska, Pauline Leblanc of Las Vegas, Nev.; 19 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; three step-great-grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Lottie Price of Glastonbury, Conn.; She was predeceased by six stepsisters; and by one stepbrother. Funeral services will be held 3 p.m. Friday at the St. Gerard Church in Grand Isle. Friends and relatives may call 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday and from 1:30 p.m. until time of services on Friday at the Daigle Funeral Home.
