BANGOR – Gerry L. (Stanley) Worster, wife of Cecil R. Worster, passed away unexpectedly March 8, 2007, at a Bangor hospital. She was born June 26, 1931, in Prentiss, the daughter of Mildred (Baston) and Fay Stanley. Gerry worked for the past eight years at First Friends Childcare, Brewer. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Cecil; children, Barbara Bowden and her husband, Gary, of Bangor, Jean Walsh of Bangor, formerly of Millinocket, Tim Worster and fiancee, Lillian, of Folly Beach, S.C., Lucy McAvoy of Brewer, Terry Worster and his wife, Peggy, of Hermon, Skip Worster and his girlfriend, Tina and her children, Katie and Alex; 15 grandchildren, Kevin, Jeff, Craig, Kristy, Erika, Justin, Shane, Ian, Ryan, Matt, Stacey, Brian, Tom, Hannah and Wyatt; great-grandchildren, Robbie, Katrina, Evan, Chayce, McKenna, Madison, Dylan and Elijah. One of her greatest joys in life was spending time with family and her babies. A celebration of her life will be held for family and friends 1-3 p.m. Sunday, March 11, at the First Friends Childcare, 153 State St., Suite 4, Brewer. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Barbara Bowden, 23 March St., Bangor, ME 04401, to purchase a special rocking chair in her memory, so her babies will forever be rocked. We know Grammie Gerry is rocking babies in heaven.
