PRESQUE ISLE – Glenda I. Clark, 74, died Friday evening Feb. 24, 2006, at The Aroostook Medical Center, Presque Isle. She was born May 14, 1931, at Mapleton, the daughter of Herbert “Harry” and Mapley (Wood) Carmichael. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Glenda enjoyed gardening, working in her flowers, painting her ceramics, feeding and watching the birds and she loved to cook. She is survived by her husband, Vaughn of Presque Isle; a son, Russell M. Clark and his wife, Loretta, of Mapleton; a daughter, Marilyn Nadeau and her husband, Rick, of Presque Isle; two brothers, Elvin Carmichael of Monson and Herbert L. Carmichael of Cooper Mills; two sisters, Cynthia Carmichael of Presque Isle and Verla Lindsey of Levant; four grandchildren, Shane and Tyler Clark and Lindsay and Amanda Nadeau. She was predeceased by a sister, Authora Kinney. There will be no calling hours. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Tuesday, at the Duncan-Graves Funeral Home, 30 Church St., Presque Isle with the Rev. Kevin Kierstead officiating.
