MARSHFIELD – Grace E. Hanscom, 98, passed away June 22, 2007, at Marshall Health Care Facility after a long illness. She was born March 12, 1909, in Marshfield, the daughter of the late Walter and Susie (Reynolds) Harmon. Grace’s family was very important to her and she took great pride in caring for her family. She will be remembered as a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was also an excellent cook. Grace worked several years at Marshall Manor, Machias. She is survived by her children, Norma Willey of Harrington and Donna Hanscom of Marshfield; grandchildren, Bar-ry Hanscom and wife, Jada, of Jacksonville, Elizabeth Kitchen and husband, Kurt, of Brewer, Melessa Willey of Harrington and Mary Willey and friend, Tony, of Bangor; great-grand-children, Jessica Hanscom and friend, Ricky, of Bangor, Charles Patrick Hanscom of Jacksonville, Joshua Kitchen and Andrew Kitchen of Brewer and Kaitlin Grace Willey of Harrington; sister, Emogene Look of Whiting; brother, Harvey Har-mon and wife, Lorraine, of Marshfield; sister, Alice Lord of Berwick; several nieces and nephews. Visiting hours will take place 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Wednesday, June 27, at Bragdon-Kelley-Campbell Funeral Home, Machias, with a funeral service 1 p.m. officiated by Pastor John Sprague.
