WATERVILLE – Grace left her family and friends to go live with the Lord, April 3, 2007. She was born March 6, 1924, the daughter of Louis and Nacie Beaulieu. Grace was known for her strong will and giving heart. She enjoyed knitting, sewing, and crocheting. She will be remembered by many for her hand made scrubbers, towels, and scarves, as well as her Morgan’s pizzas. Her pleasures in life were playing with her many grandchildren and playing Beano. Grace was predeceased by her husband, Chester Morgan; her son, Donald Carr; two brothers, Lewis and Edward Beaulieu; and one sister, Ida Chase. She is survived by her son, Lawrence Carr Jr. and his wife, Diana, of Faifield; her daughter-in-law, Nancy Karter of Fairfield Center; her daughter, Nacie Bowerman and her husband, Eugene, of Unity; her son, Theodore Carr and his wife, Rebecca, of Salem, Mass.; her daughter, Jackie Carr of Sherman; her sister, Winnie McCormick of Fairfield; and sister, Jean Fowler of Oakfield. Grace was blessed with nine grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, that she cherished and adored. Grace carried a special place in her heart for her nephew, Leo Beaulieu; and two dear friends, Ann Dennis and Darrolyn Weston. Grace also shared a special bond with the loving staff at Inland Hospital, who made her feel loved with their caring and comforting ways. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends. At Grace’s request there is no funeral or visitation hours. Friends wishing may make a donation in her memory to a favorite charity of their choice. All are invited to come to a celebration of Grace’s life 2 p.m. Saturday, April 14, at the Ironworkers Local 496 Hall, I-95, off exit 138, Clinton.
