FARMINGTON – Gregory A. Co-Wallis, 42, of Farmington passed away unexpectedly at Franklin Memorial Hospital Sunday, Dec. 21, 2003. He was born April 2, 1961, in Ticonderoga, N.Y., the son of Robert and Anna (Cosenza) Co-Wallis. He grew up in Wilton and graduated from Mt. Blue High School in 1979. That year he took a job working for Daniel’s Construction before starting his career in Real Estate. He married Cheryl Thorndike in Farmington in April of 1984. He worked for Century 21 moving quickly from sales and management in the Farmington and Rumford areas to the corporate offices, where he was a National Trainer during the mid 1990’s. Greg then moved on to be the Manager of Century 21, Balfour in Portland, staying there until 2001. He then went to work at Mark Stimson, which became DeWolfe, where he was vice President and president of the affiliate offices with whom he stayed through the transition to Coldwell Banker after the company was sold. He held the people he worked with in very high esteem, they were very close to his heart. Greg spent the last year being Mr. Mom meeting his daughter when the bus arrived home after school. He loved the opportunity to spend time with Hanah. He also enjoyed playing with his toys: snowmobiling, boating, woodworking, watching football, and the dog Lexi. He also dabbled at drawing. Survivors include his wife, Cheryl of 19 years; a daughter, Hanah; his parents, Robert and Anna of Wilton; a sister, Debra Chalmers and her husband, Jamie, of Southwest Harbor; four brothers, Gary Co-Wallis of Bangor, Michael Co-Wallis of Palm Coast, Fla., Brett Co-Wallis of Bath, and Scott Aldrich of Naples, Fla.; his in-laws, Victor and Erma Thorndike of Farmington; a sister-in-law, Wendy Pomeroy and her husband, Joel, of Wilton; nieces and nephews, Michaella, Sean, Jacklyn, Derek, Coral and Cayman; many aunts, uncles and cousins. Visitation will be held 5-8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 26, 2003, at the Adams Funeral Home, 108 Court St., Farmington. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 27, 2003, at St. Joseph’s Church Parish Hall on Middle Street in Farmington. Interment will be in the spring at Fairview Cemetery.
