CARIBOU – Harold A. Somers, 78, died June 2, 2008, in Caribou. He was born Aug. 26, 1929, in Caribou the son of the late Arthur and Novella (Smith) Somers. Mr Somers was employed by Potato Service as well as Red Ball Potato Co., for many years. He was married to the late Rose (Madore) Somers. He is survived by two brothers, Galen of Caribou and Lee of Presque Isle; a sister, Beryl Hale of Caribou; two half sisters, Marilyn Mirus of Florida and Natalie Undercolfer of New Hampshire; two stepchildren, Herman and Bernadette; his very special friend, Jean Sutherland of Caribou; several nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held 1 p.m. Thursday at Evergreen Cemetery, Caribou, with the Rev. John Kiehn officiating. Arrangements by Mockler Funeral Home, 24 Reservoir St., Caribou.
