GREENVILLE – Harold E. “Benny” Sheehan, 77, died Aug. 5, 2007, at a Lewiston nurs-ing home. He was born Oct. 8, 1929, in Greenville, son of Patrick and Dorothy (Leeman) Sheehan. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II and worked for Scott Paper Co., for many years. Benny loved fishing and hunting. A real high point in his life was getting a moose hunting permit and tagging a moose with the help of his stepson in 1999. He was predeceased by his wife, Bernadette (Davis) Sheehan. He is survived by his stepson, Armond Davis of Shirley; a daughter, Deborah Sidell of New Gloucester; a brother, Ronald Sheehan of Greenville; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A graveside memorial service will be held 11:30 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 9, at Greenville Cemetery with the Rev. Richard Malo officiating. Arrangements by Crosby & Neal, Greenville.
