OLD TOWN – Harold W. Coughlin Sr., 77, passed away Feb. 1, 2007, after a brief illness at a Bangor hospital. He was born Nov. 14, 1929, in Old Town, the son of Herman and Gertrude (Carey) Coughlin. Harold loved to share a joke. He enjoyed going for rides and visiting friends. Harold is survived by his loving wife, Eunice Coughlin; sons, Harold Coughlin Jr. and his companion, Marilyn Scott, of Old Town and Rick Coughlin and his wife, Jean, of Argyle; sisters, Florine Perkins and Marilyn LaBelle; and grandchildren, Lorraine, Starr, Dawn, Rick Jr. and Brandy. He was predeceased by his sister, Corrine Land. A graveside service will be planned for the spring at Hoyt Brook Cemetery, Argyle. Arrangements are under the care of Birmingham Funeral Home.
