BRADLEY – Harrison “Hass” W. Lyons, 81, passed away April 2, 2008, at a Bangor health care facility. He was born in Medway, the son of Lyman Moreland Lyons and Clara (Dorcas) Weymouth. Harrison was a member of St. Ann’s Catholic Church, Bradley and a member of VFW Post, Mattawamkeag. He retired in 1976 from the East Millinocket paper mill and enjoyed spending his time fishing salmon, trout and hunting in Medway. He also enjoyed cutting firewood. Harrison was predeceased by two sisters, Frances and Anita Chesley. He is survived by his wife, Yvonne Cecelia (LaBree) Lyons; and one brother, Cary “Boots” Lyons of Mattawamkeag. He is also survived by two stepdaughters, Patricia Lozier of Nashua, N.H., and Pamela Linton and husband, Daniel, of Pocomoke, Md.; and one stepson, Raymond Latno and his wife, Laurie, of Derry, N.H.; six grandchildren, six great-grand-children, many nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Monday, April 7, at St. Ann’s Catholic Church, Bradley, with Father Bill Labbe officiating. A reception will be immediately after the service. Interment will be held in the spring at Grindstone Cemetery, Medway. Memorial donations preferred to St. Ann’s Catholic Church, care of Holy Family Church, 429 Main St., Old Town, ME 04468.
