NEW LIMERICK – Harry Howe Sr., 85, of New Limerick died Jan. 21, 2004, at Houlton. He was born on April 25, 1918, in Island Falls, the son of Forest and Mary (Byers) Howe. He is survived by four children, Dennis Howe of Florida, Harry Howe Jr. of New Hampshire, Galen Howe of Houlton, Deanna Harris of Orono; eight grandchildren; several great- grandchildren; six sisters; one brother; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two sisters and one brother. A private family funeral will be held at 4 p.m. Friday at Bowers Funeral Home, 10 Water St., Houlton. In lieu of flowers, those who wish may donate to the charity of one’s choice. Donations may be left at the funeral home.
