BUCKSPORT – Hazel C. Poulin, 85, died Aug. 12, 2005, at an Ellsworth hospital. She was born in Brooklin, Feb. 22, 1920, the daughter of John Bryant and Mary (Williams) Candage. She is survived by her husband, Betrand J. Poulin; son, Lyman L. Closson of Brooklin; nine grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren; and one niece, Mary Fowle. She was predeceased by a son, Donald B. Closson; daughter, Linda L. Christy; two grandchildren, Tina L. and Robert R. Hutchinson; and a half sister, Emma Wells. The family would like to thank all the caregivers and friends who visited and provided support. A funeral service will be held 9 a.m. Wednesday Aug. 17, 2005, at Jordan-Fernald, 141 South St., Blue Hill with Rev. Loren Hutchinson presiding. Interment will follow at 1 p.m. at the Maine Veteran’s Cemetery in Augusta.
