PRESQUE ISLE and EAGLE LAKE – Hedwidge (Nadeau) Albert, 95, died March 7, 2004, at her residence. She was born Sept. 6, 1908, in Eagle Lake, the daughter of Vincent and Amanda (Daigle) Nadeau. She is survived by a son, Allen Albert and his wife, Carmen (Daigle), of Sanford, Fla.; and a daughter, Joyce Cyr of Presque Isle; two sisters, Cora Tardy of Presque Isle, and Kathleen Clark of East Hartford, Conn.; four brothers, Elmer Nadeau of Eagle Lake, Ervin Nadeau of Ashland, Camille Nadeau and his wife, Josie, of Bathurst, New Brunswick; special sisters-in-law, Emily Nadeau Godbois and Barbara Nadeau of Connecticut, and Rella Albert of Eagle Lake; and a brother-in-law, Donald Albert of Eagle Lake; 19 grandchildren; 42 great-grandchildren; and 18 great-great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, James Albert, in 1978; two daughter, Emily Albert and Mae Crane Walker; a son, Alton; two brothers, Edwin and Eldon Nadeau; a granddaughter, Jamie Crane; and a grandson, Lee Albert. There will be no visitation at the funeral home on Friday, March 12, 2004, prior to the funeral. Friends and relatives are invited to go directly to the St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Eagle Lake, for a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10 a.m. with the Rev. Bill Labbe officiating.
