EAST MILLINOCKET – Helen E. Ambrose, 75, passed away at a local hospital, Monday, July 12, 2004. She was born Nov. 26, 1928, in East Millinocket, the daughter of Frank and Edith (Tuleikis) Ambrose. Helen was very active in church groups at St. Peter’s Catholic Church. She enjoyed spending her summers entertaining her family at Cedar Lake, and volunteered her time and services to the elderly in the community. Helen is survived by four nephews, Victor Pauplis, Bronie Ambrose, Frank Ambrose, all of East Millinocket, William Fraser of Wilbarham, Mass.; five nieces, Lorraine Letteney of Braintree, Mass., Wilda Green of West Bath, Duska Parsons of Hampton, N.H., Mary Bernier of Millinocket, and Jenny Ambrose of Virginia; many great-nieces and nephews. Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, July 13, 2004, at the R.L. Bouchard Funeral Home, 17 Western Ave., East Millinocket. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 14, at St. Peter’s Catholic Church in East Millinocket. Burial will immediately follow in East Millinocket Cemetery.
