LAMBERT LAKE – Helen L. (Nason) Fish, 76, wife of Dale Fish, died Nov. 29, 2005, at a Calais hospital. She was born Dec. 28, 1928, in Lambert Lake, the daughter of Delmar and Myrtle (Grant) Nason. Helen was a member of Bethel Chapel in Talmadge. She worked at Gold Star Cleaners for several years. She was always known as a hard worker. She was considered a mother and sister by her whole family. In addition to her husband, Dale, of Lambert Lake, she is survived by a brother, Delmar “Bud” Nason and his fianc?e, Sandra Lane of Island Falls; six sisters, Beatrice Kaine of Lambert Lake, Charlotte Fish and her husband, Carl, of Waite, Blanche McKinnon of Brookton, Jessie Grass and her husband, Earl, of Lambert Lake, Ernestine Grass and her husband, Teddy, of Vanceboro and Priscilla Denning and her husband, Larry, of Kenduskeag; several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her first husband, Alvin Shaw, her second husband, Kenneth Shaw and a sister, Juanita Randall. Friends may call from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday at the Lambert Lake Pentecostal Church. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, at the Vanceboro Methodist Church, with the Rev. Tom Smith officiating. Interment will be in Lambert Lake Cemetery.
