CARIBOU – Helen McLaughlin, 69, wife of the late Charles McLaughlin, died July 9, 2008, in Van Buren. She was born May 28, 1939, in Caribou, the daughter of the late Reuben and Anna (Paradis) Saunders. She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Charles and Belinda McLaughlin of Woodland, and Danny and Linda McLaughlin of Caribou; one sister and brother-in-law, Carolyn and Ken Pennock of California; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Rodney and Dottie Saunders of Limestone, Ransford and Cory Saunders of Caribou, and Daryl and Sue Saunders of New York; five grandchildren, Mike and his wife, Jeannie, Jeannie and her significant other, Andrew, Jennifer and her husband, Jay, Danielle and her husband, Nicholas, and Nathan; 10 great-grandchildren, Miranda, Monica, Logan, Krysta, Faith, Jasmine, Haley, Daniel, Brandon and Landon; many nieces and nephews. Mrs. McLaughlin was predeceased by her husband, Charles, in 1994; and a son, Roger, in 1996. Graveside services will be held 3 p.m. Saturday, July 12, at Woodland Cemetery with Pastor Ron Rosser officiating. After the service, the family invites everyone to a time of fellowship and refreshments at Danny and Linda McLaughlin’s.
