BANGOR – A service of remembrance for Helen (Young) Gillespie will be held 10 a.m. Wednesday, at Brookings-Smith, 133 Center St., Bangor with the Very Rev. Richard McLaughlin, pastor of St. John’s Catholic Church, officiating. Spring interment will be at Mt. Hope Cemetery, Bangor. The family invites relatives and friends to share conversation and refreshments at the Brookings-Smith Family Center, 163 Center St., Bangor immediately following the service.
