HOWLAND – Henry F. Sereyko, 82, husband of Cecilia Sereyko, died May 4, 2005, at a Lincoln health-care facility. He was born Nov. 29, 1922, in Howland, the son of Ignacy and Barbara (Kazilionis) Sereyko. Henry was a U.S. Army Veteran of World War II. He served in Normandy, Northern France, Rhineland and Central Europe. He was a communicant of St. Leo’s Parish, a member of the Knights of Columbus and a member of the American Legion. In addition to his wife, Cecilia, he is survived by a son, Kurt Sereyko and his wife, Debra, of Howland; a daughter, Theresa and her husband, Tom Post, of Kennebunk; a brother, Francis Sereyko and his wife, Stella, of Howland; six grandchildren, Betsy and her husband, James Audibert, of Maryland, Lea and her husband, Corey Harper, of Argyle, Alana Post of New York, Dylan Post of Savannah, Ga., and Eliza and Audrey Post of Kennebunk; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by six brothers, Alexander, John, Stanley, Alphonse, George and Kenneth. Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the Clay Funeral Home, 7 Lee Road, Lincoln. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Friday at St. Leo Catholic Church, with the Rev. Andre Houle presiding. Interment will be in St. Matthew’s Cemetery, West Enfield.
